Baby Shower

Gretel with baby in her belly was blessed and showered by friends and family. First we feasted on a variety of buffet items, then we played a few games. Most special was the collection of beads. Each person presented me with a bead and told me of their best wishes for the delivery, birth, and raising of a new child. I later made a necklace with all these beads and special wishes, so that I may wear them during early labor to feel the strength and love from everyone supporting me in this process.



Then there was the pile of gifts to open... so many cute clothes!!! So many valuable treasures, and wonderful gifts from everyone. My mother, Reva Bailey, made a handmade quilt in safari theme fabric. Isn't is awesome!
