a typical day?

Jasper is nearing 7 months, so I thought I'd update you on his progress. What is a "typical" day like with Jasper? Well, every day is different and exciting! He's learning new tricks every moment. But, there are some regularities that occur more than half of the days lately.
For EXAMPLE:
9:30am wakeup
play on the floor and roll around and try to crawl. Get up on all fours and rock back and forth, try to get a knee under and figure out which hand to move forward, then woops! landing on his face.
10:30 oatmeal and/or apple sauce. Wednesday is Yoga, Thursday is a stroller ride at Henry Cowell.
12 noon-ish take 40 minute nap
afternoon snack, mush of some sort (apples, pears, peas, squash...)
more play, practice sitting, time in the jumperoo, setup blanket on outside deck in the shade during the late afternoon heat. Roll around and quickly get to edge of large blanket, touch the deck and anything he can grab... leads to a "free ride" when mommy picks up Jasper and moves him to center of blanket again, with toys.
4 or 5pm another 40 minute nap, sometimes longer
7pm dinner, veggie mush
8:30pm jammies!
9pm soothing music and storytime... mommy and daddy hope he sleeps well tonight!

NIGHTIME is always a challenge for sleep. Jasper wakes up a few times. On good nights, he quickly returns to sleep with a little touch and singing. Generally the first waking is 2 hours later, and he gets nursed and put back in the crib. He's not allowed out of his crib from 1am - 6am (new rules) and some nights he has slept through this period, other nights he's up and down and we get very little sleep. One of us goes to calm him down, sing, and comfort him back to sleep in his crib. Then back to our bed, and 10 minutes later he's fussing again, ugh! oh well, most other mommies I talk with have the same issues going on.

Around 6 or 7am I bring Jasper into the big bed with us, so we can all sleep in! Until 9:30 or 10!

Then we start another day, and get a little bit closer to crawling forward. Jasper loves to eat, so I've recently tried to feed him 3 times a day (rather than just once or twice). He still nurses whenever he feels like it, usually a chaser after a meal, or a lot in the evening.
