12 weeks

12 week appointment with Leora. We listened to the heartbeat. Everything checked out fine. We were informed that if we wanted the nuchal translucency test (first trimester ultrasound to detect downs syndrome), that we had to sign up to visit Stanford for that test because there are only a few of these new machines around. Well, we decided against it and to wait for the blood tests which cover the same stuff. And none of these test results are very accurate anyhow!
