Lazy Sunday

Today we slept in. It's a bit misty outside, grey and cold. Around lunchtime we took the metro to Woodley Neighborhood. What a cool area, lots of good looking restaurants, and casual people. There is a park, Rock Creek Park, that runs through the area. After lunch, at Chipolte Mexican Grill, we walked around the streets and back through the park. The streets are darted with embassies. All with very nice yards and gardeners to keep them nice. It's Sunday, so no gardeners were out when we were there, but you could tell everybody had a gardener.

There wasn't much time in the day, time just slipped away. It was nice to take a day to just feel out the city. We didn't do anything touristy today.

For dinner we checked out another neighborhood. It is fun to take the metro and pop up in a new place. Every place has a different feel. Dupont Circle... lots of bars and restaurants, shops, etc. Dinner was fabulously delicioso. Great Italian meal!
